Who may apply
The measure covers manufacturing businesses already located in eligible municipalities, or planning a new production unit there. Applicants must be duly incorporated and registered in the companies register. Check the exact municipality, the proposed unit and all company-status requirements in Invitalia’s official documents before applying.
Projects covered
The fund supports upgrading or expanding existing manufacturing units and starting new ones. Invitalia lists product and process innovation, digitalisation and conversion towards more sustainable production models. The investment must fit the proposed site and activity.
Amount and costs
The capital grant is capped at €300,000 and cannot exceed 100% of admitted costs. Invitalia refers to expenditure incurred from 8 May 2024 to 31 December 2028, including new machinery, plant, equipment, certain intangible assets and specified building or installation works. The 100% figure is a ceiling, not a guaranteed award.
Dates and application
The online window runs from 12:00 on 28 September to 12:00 on 28 November 2026, subject to official updates. Applications use Invitalia’s personal area and require digital identity, digital signature and certified email (PEC). Each company may submit one application. Awards operate on a rolling basis until resources are exhausted. Registration does not allow advance application completion or confer priority.
Practical check
Confirm the eligible municipality and production unit, prepare company records, project documents and cost evidence, and check digital access, signature and PEC. An application receipt is not an award decision.
